After a leisurely breakfast, start your day with a rainforest walk, taking in views from the summit of Mt Kootaloo and browsing through the Artists’ Colony. If the water is too tempting to pass up, explore the shallows on a guided jet ski tour, stopping off to snorkel over the bommies at Naturalist Beach. Over lunch make some plans for the afternoon ahead. Water skiing and tennis? Parasailing and squash? A Great Barrier Reef trip and horse riding on the beach?
If that’s all sounding far too active and the most energetic you’d like to get is trying your luck fishing, it’s up to you to do as much or as little as you like. Set your own pace to relax and unwind.
